Yesterday, the Arkansas News Bureau highlighted a recent poll conducted on the lottery by Talk Business Quarterly magazine.
FRC Action—the legislative action arm of Family Research Council—keeps a blog that more than lives up to its name. Called The Cloakroom, it is a reference to private rooms connected to a legislative chamber where lawmakers conduct “secret business.” FRC Action’s blog is all about making that secret business as public as possible.
Just a quick update from the Family Council Action Committee about its work with Act 1, the Arkansas Adoption and Foster Care Act.
Arkansas’ home school students have outperformed their public school counterparts on standardized tests since 1985. However, this year the gap has widened, with Arkansas home school students scoring in the 61st through 80th percentiles–well above the national average.
