Casino Group Unveils Ad
The group Driving Arkansas Forward has unveiled a new ad asking people to sign its petition to put a casino measure on the ballot.
The proposed constitutional amendment would authorize casinos in four Arkansas counties. The group reportedly is working with the Quapaw Tribe that operates casinos in Oklahoma.
Casino gambling is linked to homelessness, domestic violence, divorce, and bankruptcy. It’s a blight on the community. Whatever money the state gains in tax revenue from casinos is spent trying to repair all the damage gambling does.
Arkansas already has enough problems from gambling. We don’t need any more.
