Little Rock — On Tuesday, February 20, Family Council will host a dessert reception at the Governor’s Mansion for Arkansas’ Ten Longest Married Couples. The keynote address will be given by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and First Lady Susan Hutchinson. Special guests in attendance will include Attorney General Leslie Rutledge, Land Commissioner John Thurston, and other state and local officials. Family Council will honor I.B. and Ima Jewel Williams as Arkansas’ Longest Married Couple, celebrating 80 years of marriage. Family and friends will be present to celebrate with the couples and the couples will be presented with, among gifts from Family Council, a bouquet of flowers courtesy of Tipton and Hurst and a framed special letter of recognition from the Governor.

The Arkansas’ Longest Married Couples Dessert Reception will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 20, and will last until 3:00 PM. For more information, contact Ken Yang at Family Council at (501) 375-7000.
