In 1982 President Ronald Reagan delivered his famous Westminster Address to a highly skeptical audience in England. In it, he predicted the imminent demise of the Soviet Union. He said, “I believe we are now at a turning point,” “The march of freedom and democracy will leave Marxism and Leninism on the ash heap of history.”

In 1993, President Clinton signed into law the ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy for the United States military. Now President Obama wants to get rid of this common-sense piece of legislation—at the very time when our military is benefiting from it the most.
