Teacher Files Complaint After Being Fired for Showing Bible to Student

A Pennsylvania substitute teacher has filed a complaint after being fired for showing a student a copy of the Bible.

The teacher showed the student the Bible after being asked about it by the student.

Attorney Hiram Sasser with the Liberty Institute in Plano, Texas, is assisting the teacher.

Kentucky ACLU Alleges Gideons Distributing Bibles at School

The Kentucky ACLU is accusing Gideons International of distributing Bibles at public schools. School officials, however, maintain the Gideons are part of an annual Meet and Greet open to members of the public and held after school hours.
