Family Council is a strong believer in voter education. As such, we try to provide the people of Arkansas with as much information as possible about issues, elections, candidates, and political parties.
In parts 1 and 2 of our series on political parties in Arkansas, we told you about the Democratic Party of Arkansas’ platform and the Republican Party of Arkansas platform. In Part 3, today, we look at the Green Party of Arkansas.
The Green Party of Arkansas is an officially certified political party. We were unable to find a traditional party platform for the GPA. However, its website lists ten key values it supports:
- Grassroots Democracy
- Ecological Wisdom
- Social Justice and Equal Opportunity
- Nonviolence
- Decentralization
- Community-based Economics
- Feminism
- Respect for Diversity
- Personal and Global Responsibility
- Future Focus and Sustainability
