Family Council Action Committee
Issues matter, especially when they’re on the ballot. This is why the Family Council Action Committee is necessary. As the purely political companion organization to Family Council, we secured passage of the Arkansas Adoption and Foster Care Act, and we opposed the State-run lottery. When extra lobbying power is needed at the Capitol, Family Council Action Committee pitches in. When the solution is political, Family Council Action Committee is our answer.
Arkansas Marriage Amendment Committee
Formed in 2004, the Arkansas Marriage Amendment Committee was established to secure passage of an amendment to the Arkansas Constitution defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman. After gathering over 200,000 petition signatures the amendment was placed on the ballot and it was passed with 75% of the vote. Since 2004 the Arkansas Marriage Amendment Committee has been inactive, but it stands ready to rise up and defend the Arkansas Marriage Amendment if necessary.
