Remembering the Christmas Truce of 1914

One hundred years ago British and German soldiers fighting in World War I left their trenches, crossed No-Man’s Land, and exchanged Christmas greetings. It is called The Christmas Truce of 1914. We wrote about it last year, as you may recall.

This year Sainsbury has released a touching video portraying the events of Christmas, 1914. Watch it below, and have a very Merry Christmas!

Sounds of the Season at the Arkansas Capitol Building

Each year the Arkansas Capitol Building hosts school choirs from across the state. Students gather to sing Christmas carols in the Rotunda of the Capitol Building. This year the Arkansas Secretary of State’s office has live-streamed video of these performances. Below are a few choir performances we wanted to share with you.
