Media Advisory for Immediate Release from Family Council

Family Council President Jerry Cox is planning to testify before members of the Arkansas Lottery Commission’s Legislative Oversight Committee this afternoon at 1:30 PM in Room 138 of the Arkansas Capitol Building.

Mr. Cox plans to ask committee members to disapprove of the Lottery Commission’s decision to roll out 100 lottery ticket vending machines across Arkansas.

Fight Over Lottery Machines Not Over

Today, the Arkansas Lottery Commission voted unanimously to install 100 lottery ticket vending machines in retail outlets across the state of Arkansas. Their vote came on the heels of a 30-day public comment period in which citizens were allowed to voice their opinion of the machines.
