You are cordially invited to “A Night to Honor Israel” on Sunday, March 23, at 6:00pm at Agape Church in Little Rock.

“A Night to Honor Israel” is sponsored by Christians United for Israel (CUFI), founded by Pastor John Hagee. It is an event that has a proven track record of bringing Christians and Jews together to promote a genuine, brotherly love and providing an environment where Christians will come together to show solidarity for Israel and the Jewish people.

U.S. Senator John Boozman, Congressman Tim Griffin, and Ambassador Meir Shlomo are among the featured speakers. Several other elected officials have been invited and will attend.

Imagine for a moment that someone sues you. You arrive in court, expecting your lawyer to defend your interests, only to hear him say that he disagrees with you and will now assist your adversary.

There would be pandemonium. Your attorney would be relieved of his duties, and in all likelihood, face professional censure.

Yet, something akin to this happened to the people of Virginia last week. It’s part of a trend that should trouble people regardless of their position on certain “hot-button” issues.

Between the budget session, candidate filing, and a TeenPact gathering, a lot went on at the Arkansas Capitol Building yesterday. Below are a few photos just to give you an idea of the day’s events.

TeenPact is meeting this week at the State Capitol. Their leadership group paused for lunch in the Capitol Café. About 40 home schoolers are attending this year’s week-long seminar at the Capitol. This prestigious national program teaches home schoolers about the inner workings of government.
