Today’s THV: Tragedy Funds Set Up for Jacksonville Firefighter

Jacksonville firefighter, Captain Donald Jones, was killed in the line of duty after 31 years with the Jacksonville Fire Deptartment. Two others with the department—engineer Jason Bowman and Officer Daniel DiMatteo—were injured.Tragedy funds have been set up in their honor. Click here to read more about how you can donate. Alcohol in a Family Theme Park

Yesterday, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board decided to up the number of liquor permits at Magic Springs theme park to eight, total. This means that Magic Springs can now sell alcohol at eight different locations around the park.

This is easily one of the weirdest issues we’ve had to deal with in recent months. Here you have a family theme park that already sells a good bit of alcohol, but it wants to sell even more.

Today: ABC Board to Decide on More Alcohol Permits for Magic Springs

At 3 p.m. today, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board will decide to either approve or deny the request of Magic Springs to allow the park to sell alcohol at two more places, according to The Associated Press.
