Words from Our Founders: George Washington on Faith, Justice, Peace

Today we continue our series examining our Founding Fathers in their own words and considering their high esteem for religion, religious liberty, and virtue.

Below is an excerpt from some of the writings of  George Washington, taken from a letter written to Alexander Hamilton, dated May 15, 1796.

“Cherish good faith, justice, and peace, with other nations:

1. Because religion and morality dictate it.

2. Because policy dictates it.

If these could exist, a nation invariably honest and faithful, the benefits would be immense.”

Docs Show Kansas Planned Parenthood Broke State Abortion Laws

Reports LifeNews.com: “Late last week, prosecutors dropped the remaining criminal charges against the Planned Parenthood abortion business in Kansas, which stands accused of violating state abortion laws.

All of the charges against a Planned Parenthood abortion business have been dropped after one of the most politically biased cases pro-life groups say they can remember. The case was embroiled in controversy after it was found documents critical to it were destroyed during the administration of former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.”
