    Non-traditional students can include adults returning to school to finish their education or obtain an additional degree of some kind; a student who is only attending college classes on a part-time basis might also fall into the “non-traditional” category.

    Basically, any kind of student other than one who has just finished high school and is now preparing to enroll full-time in college.
