Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally Coming to Little Rock on Friday

On Friday, June 8, at noon on the Capitol Building steps in Little Rock, concerned Arkansans will gather for the Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally. Similar rallies will be occurring at the same time in cities nationwide. Thousands will take a stand for religious freedom and oppose government policies that harm it and set dangerous precedents, such as the controversial HHS mandate on religious institutions.

State Senator Missy Irvin of Mountain Home will serve as the rally’s master of ceremonies, and the following slate of keynote speakers are confirmed:
• Most Rev. Anthony Taylor, Bishop, Catholic Diocese of Little Rock
• Mark Evans, Senior Pastor, The Church at Rock Creek
• Beth Anne Rankin, CEO, Beth Anne Productions, Inc.
• Jerry Cox, President, Family Council

This rally is being organized by faith, political, and community leaders in Arkansas with assistance from Family Council. Learn more about the Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally by visiting www.June8LittleRock.com or by calling Family Council at 501-375-7000.

A full press release will be released on the morning of Thursday, June 7.
