Can Reps. Snyder & Ross Be Trusted?

Yesterday, Reps. Vic Snyder and Mike Ross hosted a townhall meeting on healthcare at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Blogger Jason Tolbert was there, and via his Twitter account, he provided frequent updates on the event’s happenings. One of Mr. Tolbert’s Tweets stood out to me the most.

Journalists’ Freedom a Testament to Life

In the biblical story of the shepherd who left his sheep fold to find one lost sheep, we see a true testament to the value of every individual life. Though Americans might not realize it, this Judeo-Christian ethic is still alive  in our culture–and we saw it on display in the freeing of journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee.
