Happening Now in Arkansas: 40 Days for Life

logo2xRight now Arkansans are participating in prayer vigils as part of the semi-annual 40 Days for Life campaign.

Twice a year over the course of 40 days pro-life Arkansans gather outside abortion clinics to pray abortion will end. Prayer vigils are already going on right now, and they will continue until the beginning of November.

40 Days for Life is an amazing effort. In other states, abortion clinics have closed and clinic workers have come to Christ because pro-life Christians took the time to pray against abortion. This is your opportunity to take a pro-life stand and help us end abortion.

You can find out how you can be involved in 40 Days for Life prayer vigils in Fayetteville and Little Rock via the 40 Days for Life website:

40 Days for Life Kicking Off this Week

The semiannual 40 Days for Life prayer vigils kick off in Arkansas and elsewhere around the country this week.

This is an opportunity for pro-lifers to peacefully gather for prayer outside abortion facilities.

40 Days for Life has been credited with saving more than 10,000 lives from abortion since 2007, and many former abortion clinic workers have attested that they left the abortion industry because of Christians praying outside their clinics as part of these vigils.

TX: Pro-Life Prayer Volunteers Attacked With Molotov Cocktail

Pro-life advocates in Texas report they were assaulted by a woman with an incendiary device on Monday night.

According to LifeSiteNews.com,

“Eyewitnesses say Melanie Maria Toney, 52, threw the explosive out of her car window at pro-life advocates as they prayed as part of the 40 Days for Life vigil, but they were able to stomp out the fire before the bottle exploded.

“The Central Texas Coalition for Life reported the attack – and the fact that the woman had been arrested – last night. Toney has been charged with aggravated assault.”

The article states the woman allegedly hurled a Molotov cocktail at a group of volunteers outside an abortion clinic; the group was praying as part of 40 Days for Life, a prayer campaign underway right now.
