Might Republicans have Won Bigger?

Everyone—including ourselves—is talking about the sweeping gains Republicans made last night.  It’s undeniable that Republicans had some big wins in Congress and across Arkansas yesterday.  However, I can’t help but wonder if they might have won bigger had they put forth some extra effort.

Arkansas Supreme Court Race Proves Interesting

One would think that an established, Little Rock judge like Tim Fox would have an advantage over a small-town judge like Karen Baker from Clinton.  But last night, Baker crushed Fox in her bid for Arkansas Supreme Court.

What an Election Year

Last night’s election results were unlike anything I’ve seen in recent history.  Everyone has pointed out the historic gains Republicans made in the U.S. House—such as the fact that this was the biggest gain for a political party in Congress in 62 years.  However, there are a number of notable shifts right here in Arkansas.
