On Wednesday evening Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, Rev. Franklin Graham, and Rep. Robin Lundstrum (R – Springdale) joined together to discuss Arkansas’ SAFE Act (H.B. 1570) and pray that Governor Asa Hutchinson will sign this good bill into law.
H.B. 1570 by Rep. Robin Lundstrum (R – Springdale) and Sen. Alan Clark (R – Lonsdale) prohibits gender-reassignment procedures on children in Arkansas.
Gender-reassignment surgeries can leave children sterilized and scarred for life. Medical researchers do not know the long term effects these procedures and therapies can have on kids. That is why many people equate them with experimenting on children.
H.B. 1570 will protect children in Arkansas from these dangerous procedures.
