Like millions of other Americans, we don’t think it’s appropriate for Planned Parenthood to be receiving public funds (i.e. taxpayer dollars) to operate. If the organization’s recent actions are any indication, not only shouldn’t they be receiving public funding, they obviously don’t need it.
Here’s why: Planned Parenthood is spending $1.4 million on an attack ad against presidential candidate Mitt Romney in the battleground states of Florida, Iowa, Virginia, and will also air the TV ad in Washington, DC. Why, then, does Planned Parenthood need public funding if they have so much disposable income to run high-dollar ads? The answer is simple: They don’t need it.
How much longer are we going to be forced to fund the nation’s single-largest abortion provider?
