Since Friday, more than 3,000 people have visited ArkansasVotersGuide.com in search of information about candidates running for office in their area. Hats off to all of you who helped us promote the Voter’s Guide by encouraging your friends to visit it.
This year, more than any year before, people are turning to Facebook in search of candidate information. Most of Arkansas’ candidates have Facebook pages; in keeping with that trend, the Arkansas Voter’s Guide has also established a presence on Facebook.
Facebook is a great way we can promote the Arkansas Voter’s Guide, but we need your help. Tens of thousands of Facebook users living in Arkansas haven’ heard about the Arkansas Voter’s Guide. Chances are, some of them are friends of yours. That’s why we’ve come up with 5 simple ways you can help us promote the Arkansas Voter’s Guide on Facebook.
1. Become our fan on Facebook.
First things first: If you haven’t already, go to http://facebook.arkansasvotersguide.com and fan us.
2. Invite your friends to become fans of the Arkansas Voter’s Guide.
Once you’ve become a fan, invite your friends to do the same using the “Suggest to Friends” link on our Facebook page.
3. Tag the Voter’s Guide in your status updates.
Next time you update your status on Facebook, mention something about the Arkansas Voter’s Guide by typing “@Arkansas Voters Guide” and clicking on Arkansas Voter’s Guide in the list that pops up.
