Fayetteville Mayor to Join in Gay Pride Parade

It’s a shame when elected officials decide to endorse homosexuality. Unfortunately, such is the case with Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan.

This weekend, the Northwest Arkansas Gay Pride Parade will take place, and according their website, Mayor Lioneld Jordan will be attending the celebration rally and issuing a city-wide proclamation. There’s no word yet on what exactly his proclamation will include, but considering the audience, it’s easy to piece together the likely possibilities.

If you live in Fayetteville and believe that Mayor Lioneld is out of line, I highly recommend that you call his office office at 479-718-7600. Ask him to completely remove himself from this event, which does not represent the citizens of Fayetteville.
