National Abortion Federation Brags About Helping Texas Woman Travel to Arkansas for Abortion

On Friday the National Abortion Federation posted a tweet bragging about helping a woman travel from Texas to Arkansas for an abortion.

The tweet reads,

Thanks to S.B. 8, abortions in Texas generally have stopped. However, women now are travelling to surrounding states like Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas for abortions.

Last week the Family Council staff spoke with one of the volunteers who prays outside the abortion facilities in Little Rock. Pro-life volunteers say they are seeing more out-of-state license plates at the facilities.

Arkansas enacted a long list of pro-life laws this year, but it’s important for our state to continue passing pro-life measures. Without a pro-life law like the one in Texas, Arkansas quickly could find itself exporting abortions to other states.

See You At The Pole Coming Wednesday, September 22

See You At The Pole is coming up on Wednesday, September 22.

This is an annual event when students gather outside of school hours around flagpoles at schools, churches, and other locations nationwide to pray and worship.

While courts have ruled that teachers cannot lead students in prayer in the classroom, the Constitution and federal law generally protect students’ rights to pray, read scripture, and form religious groups or clubs on campus — provided that they do not disrupt school activities.

See You At The Pole is a great way for students to lift up their communities in prayer. It’s also a great way that students exercise their religious liberties.

October 7 is “Bring Your Bible to School Day”

On October 7, more than half a million students across America will take their Bibles with them to school as part of “Bring Your Bible to School Day.”

This is a simple opportunity for our students to exercise their religious liberty and celebrate God’s Word at the same time. If you have children or grandchildren enrolled in school, encourage them to take their Bibles to school on October 7 — and be sure to tell the students in your church’s Sunday school or youth group about it as well.
