Arkansas’ 44th Annual March for Life Just Two Weeks Away!

Arkansas’ 44th annual March for Life is happening in just a little over two weeks.

This is a great opportunity for pro-lifers to gather and march against abortion in Arkansas.

The march will take place Sunday, January 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM in downtown Little Rock.

The staging area for the march is between Battery and Wolfe street’s just west of the Arkansas Capitol Building on West Capitol Avenue. Pro-lifers will march to the front of the Arkansas Capitol Building.

Conservative Outlet Praises Pro-Life Cities, Counties in Arkansas

On Tuesday the pro-life media outlet Life News released a list of the top five pro-life victories in America in 2021.

Among the nation’s greatest pro-life victories this year, Life News highlighted the fact that more than one dozen cities and counties in Arkansas have passed resolutions affirming that their communities are Pro-Life.

Earlier this year the Arkansas Legislature passed Act 392 of 2021 by Rep. Kendon Underwood (R – Cave Springs) and Sen. Gary Stubblefield (R – Branch). This good law affirms that cities and counties can designate themselves as Pro-Life.

Act 392 also makes it clear that Pro-Life Communities can install signs or banners announcing that they are Pro-Life.

Since Act 392 was enacted over the summer, Arkansas has seen a rapid expansion of Pro-Life Cities and Counties across the state.

Washington, Benton, CrawfordCleburnePopeJacksonSalineFaulknerPerrySebastianLeeWhite, and Prairie counties have adopted Pro-Life resolutions — and so have cities and towns such as MariannaRussellvilleSpringdaleLaGrange, Moro, and Aubrey.

Public opinion polling consistently shows Arkansans are pro-life. That’s one reason we’re seeing so many communities vote to adopt resolutions affirming that they support the sanctity of human life.

It’s great to see a major pro-life media outlet recognize the accomplishments that Arkansas’ cities and counties have made this year.
