Boone County Quorum Court Unanimously Approves Pro-Life Resolution

Above: Pro-lifers watch as the Boone County Quorum Court gives unanimous approval to a resolution affirming the county is Pro-Life.

On Tuesday night a standing-room-only crowd watched while the Boone County Quorum Court unanimously approved a resolution affirming that the county is Pro-Life.

Boone is Arkansas’ seventeenth Pro-Life County.

Last year the Arkansas Legislature passed Act 392 of 2021 by Rep. Kendon Underwood (R – Cave Springs) and Sen. Gary Stubblefield (R – Branch).

This good law affirms that cities and counties can designate themselves as Pro-Life.

Act 392 also says that Pro-Life Communities can install signs or banners announcing that they are Pro-Life.

To date, Washington, Benton, CrawfordCleburnePopeJacksonSalineFaulknerPerrySebastianLeeWhitePrairieSearcy, Carrol, and Newton counties have adopted Pro-Life resolutions — and so have the cities and towns of MariannaRussellvilleSpringdaleLaGrangeMoroAubrey, Haynes, and Marshall.

We know from public opinion polling that most Arkansans believe abortion ought to be either completely illegal or legal only under certain circumstances, and Arkansas has passed some of the best pro-life laws in the nation.

With that in mind, it makes sense that so many communities in Arkansas would vote to affirm that they are Pro-Life.

We look forward to other cities and counties passing Pro-Life resolutions in the future!

Newton County Passes Resolution Affirming It Is Pro-Life

On Monday night the Newton County Quorum Court met in Jasper, Arkansas, where they passed a resolution affirming that the Newton County is Pro-Life.

Newton County joins a growing list of communities in Arkansas that have publicly taken a pro-life position.

To date, 16 counties have passed resolutions recognizing unborn children and affirming that they are Pro-Life, and several cities and towns have passed Pro-Life resolutions as well.

Besides Newton County, so far Washington, Benton, CrawfordCleburnePopeJacksonSalineFaulknerPerrySebastianLeeWhitePrairie, Searcy, and Carrol counties have adopted Pro-Life resolutions — and so have the cities and towns of MariannaRussellvilleSpringdaleLaGrangeMoroAubrey, Haynes, and Marshall.

Public opinion polling has shown time and time again that Arkansans oppose abortion.

Most Arkansans believe abortion ought to be either completely illegal or legal only under certain circumstances, and Arkansas has passed some of the strongest pro-life laws of any state in the nation.

In light of that, it makes sense that so many communities in Arkansas would vote to affirm that they are Pro-Life.

We look forward to other cities and counties passing Pro-Life resolutions in the coming week!

Carroll County Passes Pro-Life Resolution: One in Five Counties in Arkansas are Now Pro-Life

On Monday the Carrol County Quorum Court passed a resolution affirming that the county is Pro-Life.

Monday’s vote means that one out of every five counties in Arkansas has passed a Pro-Life resolution.

Act 392 of 2021 by Rep. Kendon Underwood (R – Cave Springs) and Sen. Gary Stubblefield (R – Branch) affirms that cities and counties can designate themselves as Pro-Life.

Act 392 also says that Pro-Life Communities can install signs or banners announcing that they are Pro-Life.

Since Act 392 was enacted last year, 15 counties have passed resolutions recognizing unborn children and affirming that they are Pro-Life, and several cities and towns have as well.

To date, Washington, Benton, CrawfordCleburnePopeJacksonSalineFaulknerPerrySebastianLeeWhite, Prairie, and Searcy counties have adopted Pro-Life resolutions — and so have the cities and towns of MariannaRussellvilleSpringdaleLaGrangeMoroAubrey, Haynes, and Marshall.

Polling in Arkansas has shown time and again that Arkansans oppose abortion on demand.

Most Arkansans believe abortion ought to be either completely illegal or legal only under certain circumstances. In light of that, it makes sense that so many communities in Arkansas would vote to affirm that they are Pro-Life.

Look for other cities and counties pass Pro-Life resolutions in the coming months!
