Pro-Abortion Groups Plan to March in Arkansas This Saturday — But Pro-Lifers Are Gathering Too

Above: Pro-life events like the annual Life Chain have taken place in Arkansas for more than 30 years.

On Saturday, October 2, pro-abortion groups plan to “march for reproductive freedom” in five different cities across Arkansas:

  • Little Rock
  • Fayetteville
  • Jonesboro
  • Fort Smith
  • Mountain Home

The events are being promoted by groups such as the Arkansas Abortion Support Network and the Arkansas Coalition for Reproductive Justice.

Even though pro-abortion groups are planning events in Arkansas this weekend, pro-lifers are gathering too.

From now through October 31, prayer meetings are taking place daily outside the Planned Parenthood’s facilities in Little Rock and Rogers as part of the nationwide 40 Days for Life. Any pro-life Arkansan can take part in these prayer vigils.

Pro-lifers also will gather for Life Chain events across the state this Sunday.

These are locally organized events where pro-lifers gather to publicly support the right to life in their communities.

Life Chain events currently are scheduled in Little Rock, Fort Smith, and Rogers, among other places.

Ozark Right to Life is hosting the Life Chain on Sunday, October 3, at 2:00 p.m. in front of Planned Parenthood at 1222 W. Poplar Street in Rogers.

Again, the Life Chain events are family-friendly gatherings, and they are open to all pro-lifers in Arkansas.

NWA Pro-Life Events Coming November 1

Life Chain events are happening in Northwest Arkansas on Sunday, November 1.

These are a wonderful opportunity for pro-lifers to set aside an hour or so of their time to publicly take a pro-life stand.

Benton County Right to Life will meet in front of Boozman Hoff Eye Clinic at 3737 W Walnut St, Rogers, AR 72756 from 2:00 – 3:00pm.

Participants will spread out and hold signs with pro-life messages on them.

Washington County Right to Life will meet in front of Fiesta Square, 3033 N College Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72703 from 2:00  – 3:00 p.m.

These are great activities right before the elections!

 Bring your whole family.

Water, lawn chairs, umbrellas, and strollers are welcome and encouraged.

This is naturally a socially distanced event. All participants will be spread out 6 – 10 feet apart outdoors.

Signs like the ones you see in the picture above will be provided.

The 2020 Life Chain is Coming

The 2020 Life Chain across America is coming in just a few weeks.

Traditionally, pro-lifers around the country gather in their communities on the first Sunday of October to protest abortion.

The event — known as the Life Chain — has happened every year since 1987.

This year, in light of COVID-19, many Life Chain events around the country have been postponed until November 1. However, some still are scheduled for October 4.

The Life Chain is a great event. Many pro-life Arkansans participated last year around the state.

You can find out more about the Life Chain — and how you and your family can take part in it — at LifeChain.org.
