If you follow the news much, you have probably seen recent headlines declaring “Marriage is Becoming Obsolete” or something similar.

This claim is being made based on a study by the Pew Research Center showing 39% of adults agree that marriage is “becoming obsolete”. However, a quick study of the report shows a different story—though there is certainly some alarming information to grapple with.
