I had the opportunity to attend the monthly Center-Right Coalition meeting last Thursday. There, I passed out a sheet containing the Family Council legislative agenda to conservative lawmakers, activists, and groups.

Two elements of our agenda—getting a tax credit passed for stay-at-home parents and reducing the used vehicle tax—got some attention in a recent story by Michael Wickline in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. His article is part of a larger story surrounding the subject of tax cuts and spending. You can check it out by clicking here.

Of course, there is much more to our legislative agenda. Look for more discussion about our plans for the legislative session in January in the coming days. We can’t wait to share with you what we have planned!
