A critical pro-life bill is headed to the House Public Health Committee this week.

SB 113 by Sen. Cecile Bledsoe effectively prohibits taxpayer-funded abortions under the federal healthcare law Congress recently passed.

Right now, it looks like the bill could narrowly be passed by the committee, but it could just as narrowly be voted down.

Please call the Representatives on that committee, and ask them to vote FOR SB 113 when it comes up for a vote this week. You can leave a message for them at (501) 682-6211.

The Representatives on the Health Committee are:
Rep. Fred Allen (D-Little Rock)
Rep. Billy Gaskill (D-Paragould)
Rep. Buddy Lovell (D-Marked Tree)
Rep. Clark Hall (D-Marvell)
Rep. Barry Hyde (D-North Little Rock)
Rep. Tracy Pennartz (D-Fort Smith)
Rep. Charolette Wagner (D-Manila)
Rep. James L. Word (D-Pine Bluff)
Rep. Garry L. Smith (D-Camden)
Rep. Butch Wilkins (D-Bono)
Rep. Mark Perry (D-Jacksonville)
Rep. Greg Leding (D-Fayetteville)
Rep. Jeff Wardlaw (D-Warren)
Rep. Sheilla E. Lampkin (D-Monticello)
Rep. Bryan King (R-Green Forrest)
Rep. Andrea Lea (R-Russellville)
Rep. Stephanie Malone (R-Fort Smith)
Rep. Andy Mayberry (R-East End)
Rep. (Vice Chair) Jon Woods (R-Springdale)
Rep. (Chair) Linda Tyler (D-Conway)

The Representatives whose names are in bold especially need to hear from their constituents.

It is absolutely essential that these Representatives hear from you. This bill will be voted on very soon, and unless Arkansans weigh in, it could fail.

Please call the Capitol in Little Rock at (501) 682-6211, and ask your Representatives on the Health Committee to vote FOR SB 113 by Senator Bledsoe. If your Representative is not on the Health Committee, then call the one that lives nearest you.
